No problems with the websites as they’re both very simple BUT i had an email from TSO host at the beginning of the month saying they were deactivating all Mr Site websites on the 30th June. Not much notice. And not much help either.

Their plans, even the cheapest ones, come with some nice features like daily backups and one-click installs. Site 4 stars and not 5 due to how hard it is to actually make your website look good. I would very much recommend steering clear until at the very least the collective consensus improves considerably. See Also Having been picked up by the Paragon Group itself acquired by GoDaddy in as part of the Host Europe Group , it was merged with tsoHost in and, just over two years later, is now regarded very much as a "legacy platform" by the block-list botherers. Please remember this company! What this means in practise is that every time I want to connect to a website for a client via ftp, I have to call TSOHost support to get my ip address whitelisted. Up until this years renewal I found MrSite easy to use and a good enough hosting platform for my business. However things went much slower. A month ago they notified us that they would be closing down at the end of June. The long and dreadfully boring Terms of Service is usually where all the bodies are buried. The new plans are far better but if you are a loyal customer — you get punished. I host about sites with them and they keep going down, email gets blocked, support has become terrible they keep asking for more money rather than fix the issue. The real bugger is even with the so called PRO version, although you may create unlimited numbers of pages, you cannot optimies each page, you have to optimise the whole site at once, so tags, titles, etc are impossible to utilise. They set up a recurring payment without my authority and took money from my account without notice. Their speed is solid. In the Website Designer category. I find these meals bland nutritionally poor quality full of modified starch and sugar and am grateful I am not dependent on them. The best thing was the two mini wines. Exactly the same for me as other people. Site just dissappeared with no warning. Tried to access my email and get a message telling me either user name or password not recognized. Given previous comments, I'm not even going to waste time chasing it. Plenty of other inexpensive providers out there with thousands of satisfied customers. I had also just paid for a years hosting. We need to band together!!! They shut down our 2 websites and stopped all access to our emails a week ago. Having just come through Covid, to be hit with this, with no advance warning is criminal especially as they took our annual renewal from our bank 10 days before they shut us down. We have been going for over 20 years and I just feel like packing it all in now. I think we should get together and start a class action against them. Came out of the blue. Been a customer for past decade. How can they be allowed to get away with this. No right of redress,no refund. The online support is practically non existent. But I have found it harder and difficult to leave negative reviews for these 2 companies. I feel I have been scammed and left with very little. So unfair during a pandemic. I am writing to everyone to ask if something can be salvaged for the victims of this scam. Channel 4 seem to be very interested. Send them your story. Since then our email has been partly inaccessible, and it has been a major time waster to relocate our substantial email archive elsewhere as there is no facility for bulk forwarding. And during the transition inbound email has not functioned. A disappointing end to a long time together. Totally awful company to deal with with no replies to emails.
